Rosegarden update

and Ubuntu Studio released with such an obsolete version (of Rosegarden)".

That explains my slight disappointment with Rosegarden...
Will synaptic install the latest version for me? Do I need to uninstall  
the old version?

While I'm here congratulations to everybody at Canonical and all the other  
contributors who have made this wonderful thing for us. I can cobble-up my  
neighbours XP box with a smug little smile playing round the corners of my  
mouth.
I'm just tidying-up my W2k office box ready for a dual-boot with Feisty (I  
may give LinuxMint a go).
Bye bye MS in a month or so! Yippee!
