updating an ubuntu 7.0 install to ubuntu studio..

i have ubuntu 7.0 installed on a desktop that i would like to use as a
music machine..

is it possible to just upgrade that machine to ubuntu studio?

i am thinking that since i can get all the software i am interested in
in different parts of the net, i should  just need to install the low
latency kernel..

besides the kernel, is there anything else that is that much different
than a normal install?
