I must admit to hear very different music.
All depends on mood and perhaps season.
Thinking about what I may find in my shelve
or sometimes on my hard disc:
Sting, U2, Alan Parsons, Al Di Meola, Pink Floyd,
Jamiroquai, Tangerine Dream, Tower of Power,
Fourplay, Kraftwerk, Manhattan Transfer, Loreena McKennitt,
Bobby McFerrin, The Lord Of The Rings Soundtrack :-)
And additionally for German knowers ;-) :  Rapsoul, Fettes Brot
There may be some other weird things I do not remember
immediately, beside the normal dust and spiders.

So mainly either groove, funk and soul stuff or synthetics and
big orchestration.
(Well, and my son brings me into contact with Metal now...)
