Len, are you kidding?

You, several others and I'm are aware that we install zillions of
plugins and then we need to separate the wheat from the chaff.

I have tendencies to not use any Linux plugin, excepted of Fon's
parametric EQ.

Consider to read between the lines of Joe Hartley's report about the
Soundcraft Signature 22 MTK on LAU.

A long time ago I mentioned on several lists, that there seriously is
the need to provide a selection of plugins that are ok.

Honestly, for pro-audio usage, there won't be much else left, in
addition to Fon's parametric EQ, once you start to separate the wheat
from the chaff.

I own digital elChepo devices, that provide much better flangers,
phasers, delays, reverbs etc. than any Linux plugin, let alone
expensive external gear. Usually the sound quality of the expensive
external gear isn't better, than that of the elCheapo gear, but using
the expensive gear is easy to do, while usage of the elCheapo external
gear usually is a PITA.
