Shotwel is an appreciated software, but i remember it being removed on
purpose. It couldn't handle very large photo-libraries, would simply
just crash when the library was to large. Also it tends to re-organize
photos, pretty much like iTunes does. I think it possible to configure
how, but by default, it imports and sorts the photos according to its
default settings, which i personaly think is PITA. Maybe it has become
better. But it is more of a gadget than a production tool. Also, we
already have 2 professionak RAW developers / Library Managers: Darktable
and RawTherapee and for quick navigation of photos, file-manager+
ristretto beats shotwell in both speed and simplicity. I'd rather _not_
see shotwell come back TBH.

Audacious, on the other hand, i'm sure we will get many comments for
it's absence. I for one, will have it high on my todo-list after
install. Obviously, like zequence say, it is an apt-get install away.
But hey, we provide the users with tools to create music/video,
shouldn't we provide them the tools to watch/hear it?

My 2 pennies...
