Probably would have to compare LTS to LTS.

The proper thing to do (too late this cycle) is to create a new meta for 
desktop utilities we want to make sure are there no matter which DE gets 
used. My list would include:
  - a video player (one that video producers want to test with)
  - audio player
  - gparted (this is on the ISO anyway)
  - synaptic
  - pavucontrol (KDE's audio control is hard to follow or porvide support with)
  - ubuntustudio-controls

This is just my personal list I have found useful as I have installed 
Studio's metas on other DEs. It is not nessessarily complete or correct.

There are of course other apps I always install as well like joe, but that 
is totally person preference.
