Ok, now i get what you are talking about; I don't know which package the 
screensavers i have come from, but i reckon they are part of XFCE or 
xubuntu? I for sure didn't install any screensaver, and generaly i 
configure the diaporama among the first things i do when i install, 
because, i'm a picture-geek like that :D

The list i and my GF have is long, but many entries are greyed out. 
Except a few select one, that i highly appreciate, especially 
GLSlideshow.

However, don't mind me when deleting "ubuntustudio-screensaver", i don't 
think the ones i refer to are from there anyway :)
Or in other words: in OP i chose option 3.

:) hint hint... hunt? I think we are just a few days from having the 
default WP :)
Zequence and i collaborated on one that seems to work, but we are still 
on hold for an eventual madeinkobaia contrib.
Unless i'm mistaken, we said this comming wednesday was last day for 
that.
