[ubuntu-studio-devel] I will be stepping down as project lead at around the release of 16.04

I'm intending to quit being project lead no later than after the release
of 16.04, all though I will commit to maintaining that release for three
years, if no one else is doing it.

It's simply time for me to start working on music, rather than working
on the tools for it.

In order to assign a new project lead, we need a list of candidates. But
before that, I would like there to be a list of things that are required
in order for someone to be qualified as a candidate. So, we should
discuss that first. What is required of someone to become the project
lead of Ubuntu Studio?

Since I'm announcing this so early there is plenty of time to think
things over, and also prepare possible candidates. I will also be around
to assist the new project lead for as long as is needed.

If no one is able to do the job by the release of 16.04, we should
consider not releasing until there is enough manpower for the project
again.

These coming weeks, I will be focusing on finishing any work that we
have set out during my time as project lead:
 * ubuntustudio-controls
 * multi-DE support
 * categorization

I will also be cleaning up our wiki, so that it is easy to maintain
after I'm gone.
