[ubuntu-studio-devel] ubuntu-studio-devel Digest, Vol 77, Issue 13

I am completely dismayed by Ralf Mardorf comments.

So :

- I previously posted this wallpaper the 6th September on the dev-list, its
a little late (strange ?) to post such a negative remark on this work few
hours between the freeze.

- About the concept : its a damn and a little bit "cliché" wallpaper. Just
the ubuntu COF logo whose certainly indeed a huge symbol of fanaticism :
http://askubuntu.com/questions/42724/whats-the-meaning-of-the-ubuntu-logo-where-does-it-come-fromand
"ubuntu studio" text using a square font called "Basica" : now maybe
any right angle induce a "neo-nazi" feel by your side ?

- My family was both victim of nazis and communists, the horrors I heard
constructed my fundamentals and a huge reject of any kind of extremisms, so
unlike many people, its not just a comfortable "mind set" by my side. Any
kind of extremisms are grounded on simple thoughts and observations :
manicheism is a part of it. I consider my self as an humanist and militates
for a thing whose seams to be rare in our time : a complex tough.

- I took a look on the "golden dawn" symbol from the link you added (I am
sorry I don't know it "through by through")...so what ?...try to add a
circle on it and find a combination who could match with this wallpaper.

For conclude :
- There is a saying who means : "who never commit the evil don't know what
it is". Thats why I don't understand this kind of comments.

Regards.
