Cory,
The website wiki needs some clean up now since we've got a direction now,
but here are two links.
This is probably the most pertinent because it has Jorge's questions:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuStudio/Oneiric/Timeline/
Here is another one that probably is only good for site plan information:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuStudio/TaskWebRevamp
As I mentioned before, the second link is kinda rambling because we were
trying to develop a direction for most of that page.
Incidentally, I spoke with charlie-tca from the Xubuntu group yesterday and
we spoke about website. He said that he has rights to give access
permission to their website and he said he would look into shaking loose my
rt request for access to our site.
But I'm still of the mind that if we don't get better access to our website
before we are ready to go live then we host it ourselves.
As to Jorge's questions:
I say no to forums as we already forums setup on ubuntu forums.
I say yes to blogs for contributors that feed into the website news page.
I say no to wiki as we already have wiki.ubuntu.com and help.ubuntu.com.
I have no direct opinion on OpenID or user profile/map and I would need more
information to form one.
I think adding social media to the website would be a good move to help
spread information and awareness.
All of these opinions are not hard set and could be quite malleable.
