Disclaimer : I am mildly colour blind, so I will not try to give
detailed advice on this, but possibly use the Ubuntu dark theme
(Ambiance) screen background in place of plain black ? I suspect that
the blue logo will look really out of place against this though, but I
find that other people differ with me on the subject of what colours
go and don't go together, so you'll have to make up your own mind
about that.
