Title:
[needs-packaging] It should be possible to use some initramfs-tools-
  ubuntu-core scripts in classic systems

Status in Ubuntu:
  In Progress

Bug description:
Some of the initramfs scripts included in initramfs-tools-ubuntu-core
could be re-used in classic systems. Concretely, the resize script. I
propose to split this package in two parts, one specific for Ubuntu
Core, keeping the name, and another one with scripts that can be
useful also in classic systems, especially on IoT ones.

I have uploaded to a PPA the resulting packages:
  https://launchpad.net/~alfonsosanchezbeato/+archive/ubuntu/initramfs-
  packages/+packages
