Title:
FFe: Sync electrum 1.8-1 (universe) from Debian unstable (main)

Status in Ubuntu:
  Fix Committed

Bug description:
electrum - Easy to use bitcoin client

Rationale: Bitcoin has gained significant adoption and would benefit
from being supported as soon as possible by a stable, proven client
such as Electrum, in addition to Bitcoin-QT. Electrum can be installed
manually but making it part of the distribution beginning next cycle
would make it easier to install, update and test, and would provide a
choice for anyone wanting to use Bitcoin.

This package was accepted in Debian testing on Sept. 12.

  Source package: electrum
  Version to sync: 1.8-1
  From: Debian testing (main)

  For more details see: http://packages.qa.debian.org/e/electrum.html
  Project website: http://electrum.org

Feature freeze is in effect since Aug. 29th.

This package is not in Ubuntu yet.
