Rationale: Bitcoin has gained significant adoption and would benefit
from being supported as soon as possible by a stable, proven client such
as Electrum, in addition to Bitcoin-QT. Electrum can be installed
manually but making it part of the distribution beginning next cycle
would make it easier to install, update and test, and would provide a
- choice for user wanting to use Bitcoin.

This package was accepted in Debian testing on Sept. 12.
