Please sync libbluray 1:0.2.3-1 (universe) from Debian experimental
(main)

It is completely ABI compatible and won't need a rebuild of rdepends.
I have tested this version with the currently built binaries of vlc
and mplayer which keep working fine.

Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
  * Transition package to use default java implementation:
    - d/control: BD on default-jdk for linux archs.
    - d/rules: Use /usr/lib/jvm/default-java for JAVA_HOME.
    - d/patches/java-compat.patch: Set source/target = 1.5 to ensure
that backwards compatible bytecode is built.

The delta got merged into debian packaging and isn't needed anymore.

Changelog entries since current quantal version 1:0.2.2-1ubuntu1:
