At that time PackageKit got on the daily CDs, and germinate said the
reason was libpackagekit-glib. I think we can also get around this by
explicitly seeding apt-daemon-pkcompat, as seeds are processed before
dependencies, so if that is the only remaining delta we can sync and
seed it.

However, the current Ubuntu package backports a change from upstream
git to add the LANGUAGE_SUPPORT "WhatProvides" enum. We do need this,
as we implement this as a plugin in language-selector, and dropping
this patch would break this.

Libraries should usually not depend on daemons, this causes
unnecessary extra dependencies in chroots, build environments, etc.
But see above, as long as the library has an alternative dependency to
pkcompat, we can live with it.

  Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
  All Ubuntu changes have been applied to the Debian package too.
  The version from Debian includes some very important bugfixes which are missing in
  the Ubuntu version.

  Changelog entries since current precise version 0.7.2-2ubuntu3:

  packagekit (0.7.2-4) unstable; urgency=low

    * Don't ship transactions.db with PK package (Closes: #657831)
    * Add APTd PackageKit compat layer as alternative to the original daemon
