[Bug 708128] Re: Nagios-statd still using python2.5 which caused ftbfs in natty

A couple comments:
1.  python2.7 is the default in natty, so shouldn't just python work in the build-deps?
2.  Did you confirm this actually still works? I saw a bug about python2.6 not working, my guess is that would continue with 2.7: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=605784
