iptstate fix in xenial, can it be backported?

Hey,

I have reported that 2.2.6 resolves the issue at:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/iptstate/+bug/1562333

Can it be backported into 16.04?
It's just sitting there waiting to be backported.

Let me know if something is missing.
