## Spotlight: cloud-init Summit
The cloud-init team recently had a [two-day summit][1] to meet with
contributors to cloud-init from cloud providers and OS vendors to demo
recent developments in cloud-init, resolve outstanding issues, and
collect feedback on development and test processes as well as future
features.

## cloud-init and curtin

### cloud-init
- As a reminder, the cloud-init team has a [mailing list][2] that is
subscribable if you have a Launchpad account.
- No longer package upstart jobs in deb packages built with
  packages/bddeb.
- Fix ec2 tests to avoid leaking unmocked urls to the internet past
  httpretty registered url.
- Add nose-timer to py3 tox environments to better measure expensive
  tests
- Added missing unit tests for oauthlib import error

### curtin
- Catch exception by curtin-log-print, causing failure to clean up tests
  (LP: #1714592)
- Fix iSCSI tests as iscsi-targets do not quit session on shutdown (LP:
  #1713537)
