Hi guys and gals,
best I start with an apology. My caring passionately has caused issues in
the past, and it is evident that this has occurred again.
May I firstly put to rest any thoughts of teward having been involved in
this. He was a 'tame' person that I could ask of links from, and I
apologize to him for having him involved.
But, can I say my side of the story?
Seeing the 32 bit server test case removed from Xenial on the iso tracker
was a major "WHAT???" for me. The answer that it may be community driven
but no longer supported intimated to me that any bug would be simply marked
as 'invalid. I now understand that this is not, and never has been the
case. 32 bit support is important and as the discussion tended towards a
lack of testers, that can be resolved.
I again apologise for my circumventing any structure in my thoughts, please
feel free to censor me, but certainly not 32 bit edition of server.
Regards,
Phill.
I have cc'd this to sabdfl as matter of course as I had previously emailed
him without giving your team a chance to reply to my questions / fears /
doubts.
