Apropos bonding & ifenslave

Hello,

In the previous LTS release (8.04) ifenslave was not a part of the
base system, that is, not available from the installation CD. I'm only
installing LTS servers, so I don't know if this has changed recently.
Since I have to use bonding in the datacenter we use, I have carry
around the package in a flash drive and manually install it. Not a
deal breaker but a bit annoying since this package is actually so tiny
that it'd fiy perfectly in the CD.

So, I have two questions:

1. Has it recently been included in the "base" (CD) system? What's
more, how can I find out what packages make up the "base" system?
2. Is there a way to propose the package for inclusion in the next LTS?
