mibII/mta_sendmail support in snmpd

Greetings,

I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction to find some resources concerning getting mibII/mta_sendmail module support in the snmpd package that is available in the repos.  If this is not possible, and I need to compile net-snmp from source to get this functionality, I would appreciate knowing that as well.  Thanks in advance!
