Shrinking consumed diskspace

Hi, I'm aslo intrested in shrinking the minimal installation of Ubuntu
server, especially Fiest Fawn, down to <512M.

I've found out that you can clean/delete the instalationfiles after
the installation. That will help to reduce the size a bit.
check your sizf this folder:
# ls /var/cache/apt/archives

Try his commands to clean up the apt cache:
# apt-get clean
# apt-get autoclean

I also find this blog intresting but I haven't tried it myself yet:
