[Bug 1513065] [NEW] package nginx-core (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1

Public bug reported:

I had a buggy installation of android studio. I don't know why but on
installing android-studio, the packages started downloading and then at
99% it failed somehow. I couldn't remove it either. Then, I installed
nginx, which did not install either. So i tried to remove it using apt-
get purge, apt-get autoclean and apt-get clean. Then, after rebooting,
my themes are gone! Please help!

PS: I am trying to use apt-get upgrade to rescue  the system. Hope it
helps..
