Urdu language digitization

Hi Shabbir!

I actually investigated some Linux issue about Urdu fonts in Chromium and
Firefox, apparently the default fonts doesn't work correctly.

Can you name a single open source font that can be the default for Urdu?

I can't read Urdu very well but since I can understand Arabic I can see
what letters might be wrong or misleading.

What else can you tell us about Urdu support in computerized systems?
