So, here's where we're at with this:

Ubiquity is back in Ubuntu Studio and we're using the GTK version as of
23.10 which, for ubuntustudio-meta, fixes this bug. However, for 24.04
LTS we will have to switch to subiquity with the flutter-based frontend
as Ubuiquity must be sunsetted as Canonical cannot support it for
another LTS along with subiquity.

As far as fixing in previous releases, it's not so much as "won't fix"
as we can't fix. Therefore, I'm marking as such.
