This branch has 3 new commits that fix LP: #1300987, LP: #1300991 and a warning that I mentioned in that second bug report.
Two of these commits use the workarounds/fixes provided by the bug reporter, iw2snl.
With these bugs, auto-apt wasn't working.

I didn't update debian/changelog, or any other files in debian/.
And I suppose these fixes should be sent to Debian too but, since I have never done that, I don't know how to do it.
