Yes your suggestions make sense

I propose that the following policies

* https://wiki.ubuntu.com/gce-compute-image-packages-Updates
* https://wiki.ubuntu.com/google-compute-engine-Updates
* https://wiki.ubuntu.com/google-compute-engine-oslogin-Updates
* https://wiki.ubuntu.com/google-guest-agent-Updates
* https://wiki.ubuntu.com/google-osconfig-agent-Updates

be updated stating that if any of the vendored dependencies have changed in
the process of updating this package then:

* Details of vendored package version changes are present in the SRU bug
* If possible, links to changelogs for the vendored packages are also
present in the SRU bug

Would this be sufficient?
