  * mr_pouit has applied some long-standing patches from 
bugzilla.xfce.org to xfdesktop for Precise
   * xfdesktop is not maintained upstream, so it makes sense to patch it 
downstream
   * Among the patches is e.g. (rudimentary) thumbnail-support for the 
desktop
  * maybe-ubiquity landed in Xubuntu daily images (thanks Colin!)

=== What's about to land that might impact the other teams? ===
  * mr_pouit is about to move the Shimmer themes to shimmer-themes (from 
murrine-themes) to fight cluttered themes list in Xubuntu.

None. Hoping to finish some features soon, though :)

  * LP #856939: Default Thunderbird icons in Oneiric unusable with Greybird

  * Waiting for more information on enabling optional package 
installation in Ubiquity from Stéphane Graber.

  * maybe-ubiquity boots directly to live desktop without user 
interaction. This is being worked on with Colin Watson.
