== What was done engineering wise? ==

  * The automated build and test infrastructure is finally in place for the Unity project:
   * all components have build jobs and makefiles been migrated
   * a set of reference user-acceptance tests have been implemented with the autopilot framework
   * a Tarmac module has merged in several branches which have passed both the unit test build phase and the later user acceptance test phase
   * the resulting packages will now be available in http://launchpad.net/~unity-team/+archive/ppa
  * Unity-QT is closely following, with similar user acceptance tests, based on the testability framework, being installed on the test systems as well
  * Heavy refactoring was still going on this week on the Compiz project, to allow for more tests to be implemented. Taskforce #2 is this still active to resolve the situation on this front.

  * About 90 merge proposals have finally been merged in, following the installation of the new build system.

== What's about to land that might impact the other teams? ==

  * Nothing this week
  * Unity updates for Precise will now land in the PPA up to the 1st week of January, where a release is planned, just prior to the Budapest Rally.

== Dependencies on other teams, blocking items ==

  * Non-blocking: more HW in the QA lab for testing Unity GPU-specific code

== Blueprints ==

  * New blueprint: https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+spec/desktop-p-multi-monitor (tracking items shared between DX and Desktop/Platform)

Burndown and spec completion levels:

  * For alpha-2: http://status.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-precise/canonical-dx-team-precise-alpha-2.html
  * Entire cycle: http://status.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-precise/canonical-dx-team.html

<<Anchor(rcbugs)>>

== Release targetted bugs being worked on/monitored ==

24 unity-distro-priority bugs fixed so far.
