Here are some stores your can find 100% Ubuntu-complient computers (in
fact, they come with Ubuntu preinstalled) in North America:

   - System76, which is based in Denver, Colorado. It is a well-known
company in the Ubuntu community, and often helps the Ubuntu Colorato LoCo
team. And, if I'm not mistaken (someone please correct me if I'm wrong),
System76's laptops are based on Clevo shells, if not simply retagged
   Clevos. http://www.system76.com
   - ZaReason, which is based in Oakland. http://www.zareason.com
   - EmperorLinux, which is based in Atlanta. http://www.emperorlinux.com
   - Dell also offers an XPS 13 Developer Edition in the US, though the
price may not be as cheap as some other laptops.

I'm not sure of the price you are willing to pay, nor if these stores have
financing offers.

Ubuntu Canada mailing list might have some other suggestions for you to
find a Canadian store where you can find Ubuntu preloaded computers or
Ubuntu-compatible computers depending on your needs.

I hope this helps!
