veeeery interesting Carla. it seems you have found a regression :D I've tested their master branch, and it doesn't show peers either. I've build the previous version, and that one shows the peers. Why don't you go upstream and file the bug? https://github.com/ipfs/go-ipfs/issues I think they will like it. thanks!
