What sort of errors when mounting? I know it's required that you Safely Eject
your drives from Windows rather than just yanking it out--if you just yank it,
data could be ruined, so Ubuntu prevents you from mounting it without a --
force. How are you trying to install software?

Bugs are things that are broken. You can get an account on
http://launchpad.net if you want to be able to report bugs (please do so,
can't know what to fix if no one tells the devs what's broken!). The way
recommended to report bugs is to go to Help -> Report a Problem in the broken
application.
