Hi Everyone.
I am tempted to post this mail, just to find out more.
Consider me as a rookie in computer software analysis and programming with very little or no knowledge about the intricacies of programming. Now I have received two UBUNTU CD's, a desktop edition and Server edition. I have installed it successfully. I like most of its features yet, it isn't really helping me. I can hardly do anything without receiving error messages; with mounting of drives, partitions, opening and installing software on the UBUNTU System and so on. How can I truly get the best out of this Operating System. Mind you, I am very versed with the Windows Operating System and have extensive knowlwdge about it.
Secondly, I have a bit off a problem with the UBUNTU forum. I recieve messages on Bugs and other programming Jargo I have no idea about. Who will be very kind enough in trying to explain what really happens on the forums and what most of those bi jargons mean.
