Introduction + Leave

Hi,

This is my ubuntu-qa application/introduction mail, doubling as my
notice of absence from QA related activities.

I've been doing bug triage [1] (mostly GNOME and default desktop apps)
for about a year and a half, and am part of ~ubuntu-bugcontrol and
~ubuntumembers. I've also taken on the forums feedback coordinator
position [2], which means I'm the liaison between the QA and forums
communities.

Unfortunately (and even more so because this has happened right after
UDS-Intrepid, which was a huge boost of motivation for me), in a sudden
turn of events, I've been enrolled into military service (against my
will; it's compulsory in my country, the penalty for evading being
imprisonment) and due to severe lack of time, energy and online time,
have pretty much retreated from the above activities for the past couple
of months. This will remain the case for about five months, but as my
restrictions ease, I will make sure that the responsibilities I've had
to abandon are in good hands and try my best to get back to as much QA
work as I can manage.
