[I tried to raise the following point in the IRC meeting, but the topic
had moved on by the time I figured out how to articulate it, so I'm
 raising it here.]

Much like the weather-report landing pages, I suspect some package
aggregation here would be useful (for example, a common set of GNOME
reporting guidelines vs. KDE, vs. xfce4 vs. x.org etc.). Would it be
useful if launchpad supported some notion of subprojects or some other
way of grouping/partitioning to do this?

I worry that something like this would be really only relevant to
the Ubuntu project, as its role as a package aggregator is a somewhat
different usage scenario than most launchpad hosted projects.
