[Ubuntu-PH] ubuntu server, no desktop environment

Thanks for the info, Zak. =)

I have an additional query concerning the apt-get installation option. We're
behind a firewall and have to pass through a proxy server to connect to the
internet. I've tried once to apt-get ubuntu desktop (breezy badger at the
time) updates from ubuntu's site resources, and it didn't succeed. Do I
have to be directly connected to the internet with a global IP for apt-get
to work?

Thanks a lot in advance.

ron
