Hi Steve,
I have finally found a work around so that I can now see my IP
homepage ...
after using "Network tools" in the administration folder to look up the
IP address and pinging it etc.. to prove that my PC could still see
Xnet.. which it can...
I then went back to Firefox and opera to compare the proxy and
certificate setting to see if I had unwittingly blocked the site,.. but
no all appeared correct no blocked or rejected sites..
So in a fit of annoyance I put the IP number "58.28.6.142" into the
address bar and bingo homepage again So I now have a work around but not
a fix as if I use the web page address of http://www.xnet.co.nz/ I get
the "can not connect error" most strange.....
Cheers
Rod
