I think there's a relevant reason why english is not in the list. If all countries list all language used in their region, than the list will be extremely long. Even on many phones, we use english (singapore), albeit I prefer to use english (US)

Hi Frans,
Thanks for the quick reply.
First, no, i do get the English Version, as as you said, it is the date-notification issue, there is no other option to show english even in Malaysia Region.
Just wish that Ubuntu can add one more option for Malaysia Region, with the date-time in english.
By the way, thanks for your suggestion for LedgerSMB, i will definitely look into it, to see whether it suit me or not.
Thanks. Have a nice day.

Dear Chuah,
I think you have a Malay version of Ubuntu or Windows?
I get the English version immediately. Only indeed the date-notification in Malay language.
This has to do with the browser which is set on local settings.
GNU-Cash is a strong application. Only it is pity there is no "stock-level"-feature inside.
In this respect it is maybe for your dissertation relevant to look at LedgerSMB.
Hopefully I submitted to you useful information.
Kind regards
Frans

Good Day,
I would to like to ask that, why is it no English available in Region & Language for Malaysia region .
I don't mean that I dislike Malays language, just I would to remain English day, month name on the panel.
I had to change to other region to get English, but some of the application's setting which rely on the region such as GnuCash needed to be re-setting after each installation.
I just hope an English edition will be added into the list. Much appreciate.
