done the sudo update grub but no luck...
it found linux and memtest, and when restarting it goes directly to
ubuntu.... no win7 to be seen anywhere. i remeber its something like sdb
which i installed the ubuntu onto, and its not the c partition as in
windows. its the d partition which i used as data partition. the c and d are
both on a one tb hdd.

is this due to win7 or ubuntu 1104? i installed 1004 on my old vista and xp
and they worked like magic! i like ubuntu so much thought am no expert at
all. and i been sharing my experience and convinced some frineds to use
ubuntu ever since...
