[ubuntu-my] Talent search is on for cybersecurity students

Indeed you are right Rafe and perhaps I went a little overboard with
the stereotyping. There are intelligent ones but as Donald said, there
are far in between and are made to stay quiet by buried with
mind-numbing routines.
I too have seen this. People who were supposed to be trained and
certified to be IT experts ended up confused when something as simple
as DNS Name resolution issues stumps them while the other F-Grade who
has an idea is assigned to do some dumb minute-taking.
There is an over-reliance on certification and paper qualifications
over skills. That needs to change.
Of course I will be happy to help in any way I can. But so far there
are no takers even to give them free tutorials on line over the chat
channels or over meetups.
We can offer, but are there takers if it doesn't involve free food? Or
a certificate of attendance? For the sake of all, I do wish I am very
wrong.
