Why do people think politics sucks? People learn from lessons... When they
have encounter in front of their face that shit smells stinks, they will
pinch their nose when they see one... even something that looks alike.

As for me, I'm clear that only those politicians could color their own.
Whether to make it sucks or make it good.

Voting in the first place isn't involve politics. It does involve community
decisions. And that is democracy. Without voting, you may mistakenly make
decision that didn't fit the community or in malay words, "syok sendiri".
Politics comes next, when some guys think that he can get benefit from the
community by being a leader and then pretend that they are better to be
voted, create promises, lies and so on. We have eyes, we have ears, we have
sense to decide what is right and wrong. If we mistakenly voted a person who
cannot really do what he said or promise, we could also vote him down.
That's the community power.

I think I can grab Zarul's idea, to simply hand over the leadership to the
person who have already spending all their time working for the community.
The person who have already spent their time replying emails to people who
asked for their help. So, in order to justify who is that person, we should
count on everyone who meet that criteria.

Being a newbies in this community, I just wanna see this community growing
better, active and supportive like other LUGs in the world. I hope that you
will choose the right person who can spend his time to lead this great
community. I hope someday, people will recognize Ubuntu Malaysia among the
best Linux community in Asia, if not the best in the world.
