[ubuntu-my] Update from Mid Valley

Salam to All,

As per our "Lepaking" session at Mid Valley, we would like to announce
(pending all our community agreement) these matters had been agreed:-

      * Date: 24 February 2008
      * Venue: first choice - UiTM Shah Alam, 2nd choice - OUM

We need help with regards to this pressing matter from all our community:-

      * Delivery of 500 - 1,000 Ubuntu CDs for the event. This is to ensure
great exposure to the Ubuntu Malaysia movement and foster installation of
Ubuntu nationwide. We would like to have assistance from our Ubuntu
Malaysia founder (Mr Zarul and Firdaus "Buffalo Soldier") to ask from
Canonical to expedite this order. With less than 3 weeks for the big event,
your assistance in this matter is highly appreciated by the community.
      * Presentation - to ask volunteers to present during the event in the
"all-things-Ubuntu" topics. We open participation to all community member
to stand up and tell us what you think and wants to present on that day. We
will then discuss openly in this mailinglist to vote for the topics.

We will update more regarding the event in the future.
