Public bug reported:

As mentioned in the changelogs, after upgrading Ubuntu from 22.04 LTS to
24.04 LTS, Thunderbird is now provided through snaps. Consequently, the
keepassxc-mail plugin (https://github.com/kkapsner/keepassxc-mail) has
stopped working due to issues with native messaging.

I have shared the error logs from the add-on in its issue tracker:
https://github.com/kkapsner/keepassxc-
mail/issues/95#issuecomment-2404731930

The problem appears to be related to the snap configuration of
Thunderbird, which disallows access to native messaging rather than
being an issue with the plugin itself.
