TB 24.1.0 is  released today:
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/precise/+source/thunderbird/1:24.1.0+build1-0ubuntu0.12.04.1

After Thunderbird update, TB check if there add-on update and crash. May
be because i block lightning update. I launch Thunderbird, update
manualy lightning and remove the update's block. Ligntning update to
2.6.2.

Resolved for me with Thunderbird 24.1.0 and Lightning 2.6.2
