[Bug 1235539] [NEW] Inline spell-check stops working until Thunderbird is restarted

Public bug reported:

I have "Spell Check As You Type" enabled. Often, after an hour or so of
Thunderbird being open, the inline spell-check stops working. If I
restart Thunderbird, the spell-check works again.

I'm not sure if it's important, but I'm using English (United Kingdom)
for the dictionary. (I think this was installed by default from the
repos.)

I also manually downloaded Thunderbird (64-bit) from the Mozilla
website, but this did not fix this bug..
