That one's a known bug

pointing it out.

But if you're on the same workspace as Thunderbird, does clicking on "Thunderbird Mail / News"
bring Thunderbird to the front?

I'm not entirely sure we want to switch workspaces on users when
clicking on the indicator... I think this is something we'd need to ask
the Ubuntu usability folks about.
