Interesting, I wonder if you can download that file at all.  Run:

wget https://addons.mozilla.org/en-
US/firefox/downloads/latest/383/addon-383-latest.xpi?src=search

If it download successfully then the file will be located in the root of
your home-folder.  Make sure it is.

(If you want to restore firefox settings that were removed please run
the following)

Make sure firefox is closed!
1)  rm -r ~/.mozilla
2)  mv ~/Mozilla-Conf/.mozilla ~/
DONE
