OK, I started Firefox with a new profile and was able to logon to Chase
Online.

I then switched back to my old profile, disabled ALL add-ons, and was
also able to logon.

I then enabled ONLY "Ubuntu Firefox Modifications 0.9rc2" and could not
logon. As before, Firefox "got stuck" while loading the following site,
which Chase Online apparently re-directed me to as part of the logon
process

I then disabled the Ubuntu add-on, re-enabled all the others, and the
logon worked. This seems to point pretty conclusively to the "Ubuntu
Firefox Modifications 0.9rc2" add-on as the culprit. That add-on doesn't
have an un-install option or I would have un-installed it and then re-
installed it to see what that might do.
