Ok, I tried post #3 and it does exist on Linux! it is a little
different, however I set them to false.  I also went into Account Prefs
-:> Composition -> start reply above quote put signature above quote,
below my reply and it refuses to set this option.  When I hit reply for
a split second my signature appears above the quote, but then is removed
and placed below the quote, and it is ready to start my reply above the
quote.  Here is my uname -a

Linux shane-desktop 2.6.32-22-generic #33-Ubuntu SMP Wed Apr 28 13:28:05
UTC 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux

This is more of an annoyance than anything else, as I cut and paste my
sig below my reply and above the quote.  Any help would be
appreciated!!!
